Our History:
John Ball, our
founder,
planned on retiring in 1989 after 32 years with Alberta Transportation.
However,
the construction of the new Al-Pac Pulpmill required gravel, road
building,
maintenance & other services provided a new challenge for John
Ball’s
experience. Being one of the first local contractors to participate in
the construction
of the $1.4 Billion Pulpmill project in 1991, the company has continued
to grow
ever since.
JLG Ball Enterprises was
founded in 1989 and remains a family-owned and operated business.
